DCL CLINIC SERIES: "Try Lacrosse"
Dallas City Lacrosse offers our "Try Lacrosse" clinics throughout the year to give girls who have never played lacrosse before the opportunity to be exposed to the game in a fun, safe, indoor environment that also demonstrates how we teach the game. This is the perfect opportunity for a prospective player to "try before they buy" or for a new player who is already registered for the Spring 2027 season to get more comfortable before training starts.
Players will always be coached by a mix of paid and volunteer coaches who know the game and how to teach it. All adult coaches are NCSI background checked.

Date: Sunday, September 20th, 2026
Location: The Lacrosse Barn, 14801 Inwood Rd, Addison, TX 75001
Grades: Kinder through 8th Grade
Cost: $10 ($15 after Labor Day)
Times:
- 1st-4th Grade: 1:30-2:30pm (check-in from 1:00-1:30pm)
- Kinders & 5th-8th Grade: 3:00-4:00pm (check-in from 2:30-3:00pm)
Details:
- Clothing: Athletic wear with turf shoes or sneakers.
- Equipment: A player should bring their own water and a girl's lacrosse stick, if they have one. If they do not have a stick, a stick will be provided.
- Format: Players will be broken up into small groups by grade and then rotated through stations to maximize player repetitions and exposure to coaches. Foam balls will be used primarily throughout the clinic to ensure player safety.
